Supporting Facilities for the Plantation in Central Kalimantan

Faktor Pendukung Investasi meliputi:

 1.         Bandar Udara

        Bandara Cilik Ruwut di Palangka Raya dapat didarati pesawat F-28 dan sejenisnya.

        Bandara Iskandar di Pangkalan Bun dapat didarati F-27 dan sejenisnya.

        Bandara H. Assan di Sampit, Bandara Sanggu di Buntok, Bandara Beringin di Muara Teweh dapat didarati pesawat sejenis C-212.

        Bandara Kuala Pembuang, Tumbang Samba dan Kuala Kurun dengan melayani penerbangan carteran pesawat jenis C-212 dan BN.

2.         Pelabuhan Laut 

        Pelabuhan laut terdapat di kota Kumai (Kotawaringin Barat), Sampit (Kotawaringin Timur) dan Pulang Pisau (Pulang Pisau) dapat melayani barang, orang, dan peti kemas.

        Pelabuhan Curah Cair Kelapa Sawit (CPO) sudah tersedia di Desa Bumi Harjo (Kotawaringin Barat) dan di Desa Bagendang (Kotawaringin Timur) sedang direhabilitasi.

 

3.         Jalan Darat

        Terdapat jalan darat poros utama lintas selatan Kalimantan sepanjang 830,50 Km yang menghubung Kota Banjarmasin (Kalimantan Selatan) Kuala Kapuas Pulang Pisau Palangka Raya Kasongan Sampit Pangkalan Bun Nanga Bulik perbatasan Propinsi Kalimantan Barat. Jalan Darat poros utama lintas tengah Kalimantan sepanjang 1.014 Km (sebagian dalam proses pembangunan) dan ribuan kilometer jalan kolektor/penghubung dan rencana pembangunan jalan koridor lintas daerah perkebunan.

 4.         Telekomunikasi/Komunikasi.

 Pada semua Ibu Kota Kabupaten/Kota sudah tersedia fasilitas telepon seluler dan otomat, bahkan sampai beberapa Ibu Kota Kecamatan, selain itu juga terdapat station Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) di Palangka Raya, radio swasta di Ibukota Kabupaten/Kota, Stasiun keliling TVRI dan stasion Relay RCTI ( TV-swasta).

5.         Listrik.

Pelayanan tenaga listrik sudah menjangkau sebagian besar Desa dengan sumber Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Diesel (PLTD) dan juga yang berasal dari interkoneksi Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air (PLTA) dan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU) di Propinsi Kalimantan Selatan.

 

  1. Air Bersih.

Pelayanan air bersih ditangani oleh Perusahaan Daerah/BUMD dan pelayanan sudah menjangkau ibukota Kabupaten/Kota dan sebagian ibukota Kecamatan.

 

  1. Perbankan.

 

Kantor Bank Indonesia sebagai Bank sentral dan 4 (empat) Bank Pemerintah/  BUMN (BRI, Bank Mandiri, Bank Tabungan Negara/BTN, Bank Negara Indonesia/BNI), 1 (satu) Bank BUMD (Bank Pembangunan Kal-Teng) serta 2 (dua) Bank Swasta Nasional (Bank Danamon dan Bank Internasional Indonesia/BII). Khusus Bank BRI dan Bank Pembangunan Kal-Teng pelayanan sudah dapat menjangkau sebagian ibukota Kecamatan/Desa/ Kelurahan.

Supporting Factors for Investment such as:

1.  Airports

       Tjilik Riwut Airport in Palangka Raya is capable for Fokker 28 and the respective planes.

        Iskandar Airport in Pangkalan Bun is capable for Fokker 27 and respective planes.     

        H. Asan, Sampit, and Sanggu airports in Buntok, and Beringin airport in Muara Teweh are capable for C-212.

        Kuala Pembuang, Tumbang Samba and Kuala Kurun airports are capable for chartered flights such as C-212 and BN.

 

2. Sea Ports

 

     Sea ports are in Kumai (West Kotawaringin), Sampit (East Kotawaringin) and Pulang Pisau (Gunung Mas) serve numbers of goods, passengers and containers.

 

      Bulky Seaport for Crude Oil palm has been prepared in Bumi Harjo Village (West Kotawaringin), and in Bagendang Village (East Kotawaringin) is in development and construction progress.

 

3.      Roads

Central Kalimantan is passed by Kalimantan South link main road as long as 830.5 km which connects Banjarmasin (South Kalimantan) Kuala Kapuas Pulang Pisau Palangka Raya Kasongan Sampit Pangkalan Bun Nanga Bulik and to the border of West Kalimantan Province. Central Kalimantan link main road is about 1,014 km (part of it is still in development progress) and thousands kilometres collector roads also corridor roads plan for servicing plantation areas.

 

4.      Telecommunication / communication

Cellular phones and telephones facilities provide service all capital of regencies and city, even reach to several capital of sub regencies. In 2003, the telephones cover about 35 % of the sub districts capitals. Palangka Raya has a local broadcaster of Indonesia Radio Station. In the capitals of regencies / cities, have private radio stations broadcasting, TVRI Mobile Station, and RCTI Relay Station (private TV).

 

5.      Electricity

     Electricity service has reached almost all villages especially from Diesel Electricity Generating Power and from inter-connection of Hydro Electricity Generating Power and Steam Electricity Generating Power in South Kalimantan. 

6.      Water Supply

     Local company serves city water and it has mainly reached capital cities of regencies/city and some of sub-regencies capital cities

7.      Banking

Indonesia Bank as a Central Bank and four main government Banks (such as BRI Bank, Mandiri Bank,  State  Saving Bank (BTN), one local Bank, that is Central Kalimantan Development Bank and two national private banks of Danamon Bank and Indonesia International Bank. The BRI Bank and Central Kalimantan Development Bank served up to capital of sub regencies/ villages/hamlets.
