Membangun Partisipasi Masyarakat dengan Menyentuh Hati Mereka.

Gubernur Kalteng Agustin Teras Narang (ATN) mencanangkan upacara Peringatan HUT Kemerdekaan R.I. ke 60 dilaksanakan secara terbuka dan dapat dihadiri oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat.

Konsep pemikiran yang lugas dan sederhana “bahwa kemerdekaan Indonesia itu adalah milik seantero rakyat Indonesia”.  Republik Indonesia lahir dari perjuangan seluruh rakyat Indonesia memperjuangkan, mempertahankan dan mewujudkan komitmen berbangsa dan bernegara serta mempertahankan eksitensi itu yang abadi.

Sejak lama peringatan HUT Kemedekaan R.I.  di Kalteng dilakukan secara tertutup di halaman Kantor Gubernur Kalteng. Dalam kondisi yang lama itu, masyarakat diwakili secara amat selektif dan terbatas untuk dapat hadir.

Dalam acara di TVRI lokal, hari Sabtu 14 Agustus 2005, Gubernur Kalteng mengumumkan perubahan pola peringatan HUT Kemerdekaan R.I. tersebut. Secara interaktif, seluruh warga masyarakat Kalteng yang dapat berhubungan langsung dengan beliau dalam acara itu, menyatakan rasa bahagia dan menyambut keputusan itu dengan amat antusias.

Kiranya Tuhan Yang Maha Esa meridhoi Indonesia dan Kalimantan Tengah selama-lamanya.

Central Kalimantan Governor has announced that the celebration of the 60^th Indonesian’s Independence Day shall take place in an open space and for all attendances.

The very simplified and practical idea that the Indonesia is entirely for Indonesian, no one of them could be left behind and isolated from their own prime celebration day. Indonesia was borne as a result of some heroic efforts of Indonesian. So, that they have paid all of their life from the stage of take over, implement, struggle and build their commitment to have an existence and forever country and nation.

Looking back that the previous celebrations in Central Kalimantan Province had been done in a closed and limited space of the Governor’s office yard. In that old style celebration, the attendances were limited and most selectively chosen.

In the local television, for Saturday 14 August 2005, the Governor announced for all to attend the celebration in an open space of main stadium in Palangka Raya city. In that interactive broadcasting, all of the lucky to speak with him, said their happiness and enthusiastically for the governor’s decision.
